How do I apply for MSc. Automation and Robotics degree program as an International Student?
You can visit the International Office’s website to find information on all stages of application and enrollment into the university.
Is the Course in English?
Yes, the course is taught in English, although there are few elective courses which are taught in German. You can refer the Module Book for the course on the degree program website to know more on the courses provided in the program.
How can I connect with fellow new students in my batch?
Upon completing your enrollment, you will receive an email containing essential information, including a link to a common WhatsApp group for new students. If you haven’t received one, please let us know via email.
Is there a Buddy System for the new students?
The new students are divided into groups and paired with a buddy(senior student) only for Orientation Event. The buddy will provide a campus tour, answer questions about the course, and address other student-related concerns on that day. If you have any queries regarding your travel to Dortmund, feel free to contact us.
What to Expect at the Orientation Event?
New students receive a campus tour highlighting important lecture buildings, essential information about the degree program, and details about living in Dortmund and other student matters. This helps you acclimate to your new life as an MSc. Automation and Robotics student.

Hello, when does the registration open for the German courses?

Hello Nabil,
the registration for the German language courses open on 27.09.2024 from 10:00 onwards. For further information, you can visit the Course registration webpage . Go to ‘Anmeldung WiSe 2024/25’ and select ‘Deutsch als Fremdsprache’. Hope this helps.

Hello, when will there be T-shirts with the faculty logo?

Hello Sebastian,
Sorry for the delayed response, but we are going to release a whole wave of merchandise very soon which will include a Hoody with A&R Fachschaft logo and the TU logo. The designs and the date of release will be informed in the Community WhatsApp group. We hope everyone enjoys the merchandise!
